Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery while maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. A company van is provided in order to carry out the role.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and securing of products during transit. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Assist in warehouse duties as required, including inventory management and organisation.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred. A valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience driving larger vehicles or commercial driving is advantageous. Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus, including experience in heavy lifting and handling various types of cargo. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines. A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail in all tasks undertaken. Pay: 101.73-195.74 per day
