We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and punctuality. Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, with care to prevent damage or injury. Ensure accurate delivery of orders by verifying recipient details and obtaining signatures when necessary. Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle, reporting any issues promptly. Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery times or any unforeseen delays. Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery logs and mileage records.

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within logistics or warehouse environments. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record. Experience with commercial driving vehicles such as vans or lorries. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Strong organisational skills for route planning and time management. Excellent communication skills to interact courteously with customers and team members. Good physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks and long periods of driving.
