Thorn

just outside of

Dunstable

. We are recruiting for both of the for 9 hour delivery routes with current start times from 10.30 to 11.30. Our hourly rate is 14.50 per hour. There may also be the possibility of some smaller 6 hour routes starting at 6.45 am on the same hourly pay rate as above. This may be an option after you have started on the 9 hour routes. We also offer a weekly performance bonus in addition to the standard pay.

There are no upfront costs and no experience required as full training is provided. Applicants must be flexible and content with the job including some weekend work on a rotational basis.

Responsibilities:

Loading the van with packages, driving to delivery locations, and stepping in and out of the vehicle safely when completing deliveries*
Adhere to all safety regulation on the road*
Operate an electronic device for GPS and daily records (smart phone)*
Greet and interact with customers and the public with a professional and positive attitude*

Requirements and expectations:

Pass a basic criminal background Check*
Commercial (or work-related) driving experience is a plus but not required*
Hold a valid driving licence for at least one year with no more than 6 points*
Be willing to work some weekend shifts
Approximate working hours per day are 6 - 9 hours
