Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at destinations Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, with care to prevent damage or injury Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times or any unforeseen delays Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly Uphold high standards of professionalism and customer service during all interactions

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within logistics or warehouse environments Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record Experience with commercial driving vehicles such as vans or lorries Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency Ability to perform heavy lifting when loading or unloading goods Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members Organised, punctual, and capable of managing multiple deliveries throughout the day Knowledge of local roads and navigation tools to optimise routes

Pay: 130.00-205.53 per day
