We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. This role involves the delivery of goods and collections of mail from registered customers. Offloading of collected goods to designated locations at depot. The acurate completion of incident reporting and daily vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities

Prompt and timely adherence to route schedule. Care and security of customers goods Safely operate vehicles for the purpose of delivering goods to customers and clients. Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo, performing heavy lifting as required. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, locations, and any issues encountered. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organisation of goods. Operation of android based tablet scheduling system.

Requirements

Full Driving License 3.5t Van, 2 years driving experience (preferably multi drop) Experience in commercial driving is advantageous. Reliability and honesty Excellent attention to detail and good timekeeping Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members. Commitment to customer care. Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo. A commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant regulations while on the road. Hour of work

: 11:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday (35 Hours per week)
