Duties

Safely operate company vehicles, including lorries and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet deadlines Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, with attention to safety procedures Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and signed off by recipients Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues Assist in warehouse activities when not on deliveries, including stock organisation and inventory checks

Requirements

Proven delivery driver experience, preferably with commercial driving background Valid driver's licence suitable for the vehicle type (e.g., LGV or HGV licence if applicable) Strong driving skills with a clean driving record Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients Good organisational skills to manage schedules and routes effectively Ability to work independently, demonstrating reliability and punctuality
