Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent communication with both clients and warehouse staff. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and customer service, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting when necessary.

Duties

Safely drive a van to deliver goods to designated locations, adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. Load and unload products, ensuring that items are secured properly during transit. Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the van is in good working order. Assist in the warehouse as needed, including picking orders and preparing items for delivery. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and any discrepancies encountered during transport.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is advantageous. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing delivery schedules. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment.
