We are looking for self - employed multi-drop delivery drivers to join our team working with one of the worlds largest on-line retailers delivering shipments in and around the Bolton area!.

Multi-Drop Delivery Driver

121.50 basic day rate (145.80 inc VAT)

We are offering an hourly rate of 13.50 (16.20 inc VAT) which is above the national minimum wage. Daily shifts are 9 hours subject to change. As an Independent Contractor you are responsible for letting us know your availability to work. We offer a flexible environment that suits you! Incentives and performance related bonuses are available which can earn you extra income to supplement your normal rate. We also offer great opportunities for further growth in a management role to the right candidate!

What are your key responsibilities in the role;

Deliver parcels following a step by step process which ensures the customer receives their shipment as promised

Ensuring safe and responsible driving at all times in a manner befitting a professional driver

Ensuring vehicle safety checks are completed

Ensuring health and safety regulations are met on site and out on road

We have a structured morning before we commence delivering the customers shipments, or as we like to call them "promises". We will ensure that you as the driver have the training you need to deliver shipments safely and successfully. Your route is optimised, sequenced and mapped out for you within the delivery app. Loading your van will require stepping in and out of your vehicle while observing health and safety regulations. You will be required to perform a safety check of your vehicle before departure via the delivery APP which will guide you through the super quick process and there will always be a member of the team on hand to help make the morning process as simple as possible.

Be able to complete a 9 hour shift.

Requirements;

Fluent in English

Eligibility to work in the UK

Hold a UTR number/willing to apply

Must hold a valid UK or EU driving licence for a minimum of 12 months

No more than 6 penalty points or any of the following driving endorsements;

- CD, DD, DR, IN, MS, UT, TT

Must be confident in driving Transit sized van in a safe and professional manner

Must be able to pass a DBS

Experience in multidrop is a plus but not necessary
