Duties

Conduct deliveries using a

valid, clean driving licence

, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload goods--including

handball tasks involving heavy lifting

--ensuring items are secured properly for transit. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch and clients. Assist in warehouse tasks such as organising stock, preparing orders, and inventory management. Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure the van is in optimal condition. Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules and optimise fuel consumption. Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries. Report any vehicle issues or delays promptly to supervisors.

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles.

Valid clean driving licence

(Van Driver). Experience working in warehouse environments is desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently, including

handball duties

. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members. Organised with good time management skills to meet tight schedules. Ability to work independently and responsibly in a fast-paced setting. Must be physically fit to handle heavy loads and long periods of driving or standing.
