Two-person crew delivery of

scaffold towers

: safe loading/unloading, customer drop-off/collection (no installation). Use tail-lift, sack barrow and

ratchet straps

; complete delivery notes and basic van checks. London driving, multi-drop, customer contact.

Must-haves

UK manual B licence (3.5t Luton)

; comfortable driving a

Mercedes Sprinter Luton

in London. Good manual-handling; team lift with a mate all day.

Right to work

in the UK (we'll do the legal check), and

DVLA check code

for licence/points. Clean, professional customer service; reliable time-keeping.

Nice to have

Previous multi-drop/van experience; max 6 points, no DD/DR/IN. Tail-lift & load-securing know-how (training provided).

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual for the position of Delivery Driver. This role involves transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills and a commitment to providing excellent service.

Duties

Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic regulations. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transit. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that may occur during transport. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including heavy lifting and inventory management.

Skills

Proven delivery driver experience is essential, with a strong understanding of driving regulations. Experience as a driver is highly desirable. Background in commercial driving is an advantage. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading goods. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers alike.
