Job Summary
We are currently recruiting for a Van Driver for our client who is a well-known delivery company in Newbridge (Edinburgh). The ideal candidate possess a full UK driving licence and have a professional attitude toward customer service. The job usually starts at 7.30am and there is 30-40 drops per day. The usual finish time is 4pm.
Responsibilities
Safely operate commercial van in compliance with all road safety regulations. Deliver goods to various locations around Edinburgh and in Edinburgh promptly and professionally, ensuring accurate order fulfilment. Assist with loading and unloading items, often involving heavy lifting, using appropriate equipment and techniques. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding schedules or issues. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met. Uphold high standards of customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries. Follow health and safety procedures at all times, including proper handling of goods and use of personal protective equipment.
