Location: Polar Speed UPS, Unit 11 Acorn Business Park, Oaks Drive, Off Fordham Road, Newmarket, Cambridgeshire, CB8 7SY


Work Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 40 hours per week, Flexibility of working hours required to suit the needs of the business, which may be of an urgent medical nature.


Medical Multi Drop B Licence Driver:

Managing the scanning of packages or pallets to your delivery vehicle. Managing the safe and secure loading of all consignments. Conducting daily diligence on vehicle safety checks and refrigeration unit Reporting any issues found on the vehicle checks to the line manager Ensure vehicle is always at correct temperature Delivering and collection of pharmaceutical consignments to addresses including GP Surgeries, Retail Pharmacies, Hospitals, Wholesalers and Home Delivery Patients Physical checking and scanning of all consignments at the delivery point Communicating all operational delays or delivery failures to the line Manager as soon as possible Correct completion of EPOD/Driver Manifest/Collection Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle provided to the driver Maintain the cleanliness of company uniform and ensure correct PPE is worn: safety boots and High Viz Vests

Specialised Knowledge and Requirements:

Minimum category B Licence, ideally with no more than 6 points Minimum 2 years driving experience Good geographical knowledge Excellent comminution skills Appreciate the need for retaining confidentiality Previous multi drop/temperature controlled experience desired but not essential Ability to build effective working relationships with customers and clients and other departments within the business

For successful candidate's, Polar Speed will process an enhanced DBS check, and a minimum of 3 years referencing.
