The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Duties

Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic regulations. Load and unload goods, ensuring that items are handled with care and stored properly during transit. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers to coordinate deliveries and address any issues that may arise. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, quantities, and any discrepancies. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition. Assist with heavy lifting as required, ensuring that safety protocols are followed at all times.

Requirements

Previous delivery driver experience is essential, with a valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle being operated. Experience in commercial driving is highly desirable. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is an advantage. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily duties. A proactive approach to problem-solving and time management skills are essential for success in this role.
