The Role:

We are seeking a highly reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Multi-Role Operations & Sales Assistant. This varied position is crucial to the smooth daily operation of our branches and requires a proactive individual capable of managing diverse tasks. The successful candidate will be a key point of contact for customers and support our operational functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Branch Operations:

Opening and preparing the branch for daily business. Assisting with the receipt, unloading, and organisation of deliveries (carpets, flooring, accessories). Loading fitting teams with correct materials and tools for scheduled installations. Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organised showroom and stock area.

Customer Service & Sales Support:

Greeting customers warmly and assisting with general enquiries in the showroom. Providing information on products and services, guiding customers through options. Supporting the sales process by answering questions and contributing to a positive customer experience. Handling telephone enquiries professionally.

Skills & Attributes Required:

Reliability & Trustworthiness:

Essential for managing branch operations and stock.

Strong Communication Skills:

Ability to interact clearly and effectively with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.

Self-Motivation & Initiative:

Proactive approach to tasks and a willingness to take ownership.

Problem-Solving:

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and find practical solutions.

Team Player:

Willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.

Physical Aptitude:

Ability to assist with lifting and moving flooring materials (as required).

Flexibility:

Adaptable to a multi-faceted role and varying daily demands.

Humour:

A positive attitude and good sense of humour are highly valued.

No specific qualifications are necessary;

full training will be provided, but a positive attitude and strong work ethic are paramount.

Driving Licence/Ability to Commute:

Essential to travel between our Market Deeping and Bourne branches.
