Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team across Norfolk and Suffolk working in various locations. Working at events such as corporate/commercial dinners, outside events, weddings, buffets, bbq's etc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and safety, with a keen interest in creating delicious meals that meet our high standards. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional experience for our customers.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and of high quality. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient food production. Help with inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels. Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and cleaned regularly.

Experience

Previous catering experience. Driving license essential. Vehicle provided and travel paid. Must have ability to work independently. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A passion for cooking and a willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 11.44-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
