Job Description

We are seeking two multi-skilled carpenters to join our team, one full-time employed and one contracted. The ideal candidates will have extensive experience in a range of carpentry, and be capable of performing a variety of construction, repair, and maintenance tasks across residential, commercial, or industrial sites. A strong understanding of Health and Safety standards and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Your duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

First and second fix carpentry on residential and commercial sites Installation of doors, windows, floors, staircases, kitchens, conversions, extensions, wetrooms, and general builds Assist with refurbishments Read and interpret construction drawings and technical plans Work to deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards Collaborate effectively with other trades on-site Ensure all work complies with building regulations and health and safety

Qualifications & Requirements

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent) Proven experience in multi-skilled carpentry role (min. 3 years preferred) Full UK driving licence Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Sound knowledge of health and safety practices on site Own tools (power and hand tools)

Desirable but not essential

Experience in other trades (e.g. tiling, plastering, basic plumbing) Asbestos Awareness, Manual handling, working at height certificates SSSTS or SMSTS (for senior-level candidates) Valid CSCS card
