Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be Electrically qualified with good mechanical knowledge, able to tackle any task given.

Duties

React to breakdown and maintenance requests. Work from a CMMS system for jobs and PPM's. Ensure routine maintenance is carried out to a high standard. Test and diagnose power quality issues. Emergency light testing. Fire alarm testing. Understand and interpret technical drawings / instructions / processes & O&M's. Undertake upgrade & install work. Liaise with sub-contractors as required for repairs & ensure works have been carried out. Determine the root cause and action items required to restore availability and prevent a recurrence. Accurately maintain site work logs & paperwork. Other duties as and when required.

Requirements

Proven experience in electrical engineering with knowledge of surface mount technology. Be qualified to level 3 electrical engineering. Strong problem solving skills. Previously worked in a food manufacturing environment. Experience with inverters able to program and install. Ability to perform root cause analysis efficiently within complex electronic or mechanical systems. Knowledge of electrical systems design principles alongside mechanical knowledge relevant to system development. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot.

Pay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per year
