We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Multi Skilled Engineer to join our dynamic team in East Kilbride. Here, you will assist with an efficient operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of engineering systems and infrastructure across multiple disciplines. Support production, facilities, and operational teams by applying a broad range of technical skills to diagnose, repair, and optimize equipment and processes, minimizing downtime and enhancing overall performance.
Responsibilities
Maintenance & Repairs:
Perform planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and control systems to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
Technical Support:
Provide cross-functional engineering support to operations, production, and facilities teams, resolving issues promptly and effectively. Liaise with the manufacturing and packaging teams to complete all necessary maintenance and changeover activities in and efficient and timely manner.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify and implement improvements to equipment, processes, and systems to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and support sustainability goals.
Project Work:
Participate in or lead engineering projects, including equipment upgrades, installations, and process modifications.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, fault diagnostics, and improvement initiatives. Complete all necessary tasks involved in maintaining the Planned Preventative Maintenance & Calibration Programs
Miscellaneous:
Other such duties that may be reasonably required from time to time.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all work complies with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as internal quality standards.
Actively participate in the site's emergency response and fire team's, completing drills and other associated duties as required.
Comply with the requirements of GMP at all times, in delivering the full range of engineering services.
Proactively work with the Engineering supervisor, Innovation Manager & Head of engineering to upgrade and improve plant equipment and machine performance & efficiencies.
Skills
Good IT skills are required with strong Microsoft proficiency.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal required.

Knowledge & Experience
Essential
Sound working knowledge of manufacturing, and packaging processes and equipment
Experience in the maintenance and repair of hi speed packaging equipment.
Desirable
Experience in a relevant high volume GMP manufacturing process environment.

Salary 41,945 + 10% shift allowance
Holidays - 33 days per annum. 29 days plus 4 days public/fixed. Must retain 3 days for Christmas/New Year shut down.
