Role Overview:
Handle annual gas safety checks, conduct EICR's, home health checks and responsive repairs within the residential/domestic properties. The individual will also be tasked with carrying out some small pre-planned maintenance and reactive repairs, as well as engaging in productive communication with clients.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with strong technical skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to delivering quality service. You'll be working across a variety of environments and must be comfortable adapting to different settings and client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out safety checks on gas appliances and systems in residential/domestic properties across the region
Conduct home health checks, i.e. identify mould/damp issues and escalate for resolution as required
Carry out ECIR checks on installations, i.e. electrical wiring, fuse boxes, consumer units, sockets etc
Complete all work to a high standard while ensuring compliance with current gas safety legislation and company procedures, operating with the highest regard for safety always
Identify and report any additional works or safety issues escalating to the office/client
Deliver high level customer care, dealing with clients and tenants to meet/exceed quality standards
Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during your daily work
Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually
Maintain tools, equipment and stock to ensure relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements
Skills & Experience
Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications. As a minimum, successful candidates must have the following: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1

Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations, 18th Edition

Valid UK driving license
(essential)
Previous practical experience in gas and electrical maintenance across both domestic and commercial environments
Solid understanding of gas/electrical safety regulations and industry standards
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
A professional and friendly attitude with the ability to forge strong relationships with both clients and tenants
