Role -

Multi Skilled Engineer

Salary -

Day Shift: 16.48 per hour

Hours -

Monday - Thursday 6am - 6pm (flexibility is a must, there will be some night shifts at 18.04 per hour)

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Multi-Skilled Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of equipment and systems across mechanical and electrical disciplines.

The role requires a hands-on approach and a solid understanding of both reactive and planned maintenance procedures.

Key responsibilities -

Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on machinery and systems (electrical & mechanical).

Diagnose and resolve breakdown issues quickly to minimize downtime.

Read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

Install, test, and commission new equipment as needed.

Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations and company standards.

Support continuous improvement projects across the facility.

Collaborate with other departments (production, quality, health & safety) to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.

Required skills and experience -

Minimum 2 years UK based experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer role (mechanical and electrical).

Relevant engineering qualifications.

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Familiarity with PLCs, motors, pumps, conveyors, and other industrial equipment.

Understanding of health and safety practices and compliance standards.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and organizational skills.

Welding experience is essential.
