We have a fantastic opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our on-site team at BP Castrol in Pangbourne. This is a static role where you'll work alongside a team of engineers, reporting directly to the M&E Supervisor.
What You'll Be Doing
Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks across mechanical and electrical systems
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and general building services
Support minor works projects and ensure high standards of service delivery
Provide technical support and guidance to both clients and team members
Ensure all work complies with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Use Corrigo CAFM system to manage tasks and update job statuses via tablet
Collaborate with account coordinators, schedulers, and subcontractors
Liaise with site management to ensure minimal disruption to operations
Participate in site audits, inspections, and compliance checks
Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives
About You
Essential Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar multi-skilled maintenance role
NVQ Level 3 in an M&E discipline (Gas, Electrical, AC, Plumbing, or Carpentry)
Strong mechanical bias with commercial plumbing experience
Experience with building services plant and HVAC systems
Familiarity with BMS systems and CAFM tools (Corrigo preferred)
GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive, team-oriented mindset with customer service focus
Good understanding of health and safety regulations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
L8 Training and IOSH Working Safely certification
Experience in fast-paced or critical environments
Working Arrangements
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00
On-Call:
Participation in call-out rota required
