Summary

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team at Scottish Garden Rooms. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and installing our high-quality garden rooms, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional outdoor spaces that stand the test of time.

Must have a Clean Full Driving Licence

Responsibilities

Assemble and install garden rooms according to specifications and design plans. Utilize hand and power tools effectively to ensure precision in construction. Fabricate components as needed to meet project requirements. Perform heavy lifting and manage materials safely on-site. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion. Conduct quality checks to ensure all installations meet company standards. Fit Composite Decking. Install EPDM Membrane. Build Timber Frames. Plasterboard. Skirtings. Facings. Door Frames. Tapping & Filling. Cleaning. Wet Wall Installation

Requirements

Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter in a similar role. Strong skills in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Experience with fabrication techniques is highly desirable. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions. To construct modular garden rooms, annexes, and glamping pods. General Joinery construction. Install and Glaze windows.
We cover the whole of Scotland building our High Specification Garden Rooms so job location will vary from week to week and our usual starting point is from the Bathgate premises depending on location of the job.

We work Monday - Friday but occasional weekend work may be required depending on the Nature of the Job.

Depending on Location of the build overnight accommodation will be provided & paid for.
