We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled, experienced joiner to join our directly employed team of trades in Huddersfield.
The ideal candidate will have experience in all types of joinery works, the role will involve working alongside our team of trades to deliver projects to a high standard, providing good customer experiences. Our projects range from smaller repairs, to property renovations and extensions in and around Huddersfield. You would work alone, and as part of a team on a variety of project.
The ideal candidate will also have a strong attention to detail, and be able to complete finishing works to a high standard.
Duties
First fix Joinery such as stud work, door casings, and flooring.
Second fix joinery such as kitchen fitting, architrave, skirting and doors.
General joinery repairs and install, such as door handles, locks, door installations.
Work along side other directly employed, and subcontracted trades.
Engage with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
Recording progress of projects using our systems.
Assist with elements of other projects such as bathroom fitting.
Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools are stored correctly after use.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.
Qualifications
Proven experience in joinery or a related field is essential.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Ability to assemble various structures with precision.
Familiarity with renovation and refurbishment works.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
Computer literate to use emails, and systems (training provided)
