We are seeking a multi skilled Joiner to join our team working in private domestic properties, where we pride ourselves on being a one stop shop for our clients to deliver the finest quality work from design, supply to installation on projects ranging from kitchen and bathroom refits to full house renovations and extensions.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery and ideally have a good understanding in plumbing, tiling, plastering but not essential. Must have the ability to work as part of a team and individually following health and safety guidelines, use initiative and overcome challenges and find solutions to potential problems. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. The Joiner will be responsible for working with both hand and power tools, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
Duties
Plan your days work to be productive and efficient
Perform heavy lifting as required during the construction and installation processes.
Carry out masonry work as needed to support joinery tasks.
Utilise hand tools effectively, ensuring precision in all measurements and cuts.
Operate power tools safely while adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, to complete projects on time.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored correctly.
Skills
Qualified to minimum NVQ level 2 in joinery or plumbing, proficient in tiling, plastering, kitchen and bathroom fitting techniques with a strong understanding of principles.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
Knowledge of masonry practices is advantageous.
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in your work.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and plan your own workload to a schedule
Work well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills to both other employees and external contractors
Full UK Clean Driving Licence is essential
