Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of joinery and construction, demonstrating proficiency in both fabrication and assembly tasks. This role requires a hands-on approach, working with a variety of materials and tools to create high-quality structures and fittings.

Duties

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including doors, windows, and furniture. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete joinery tasks. Perform roofing duties as required, ensuring that all installations are secure and weatherproof. Engage in heavy lifting when necessary, moving materials and completed work safely. Carry out construction painting to finish projects to a high standard. Assist with plumbing tasks as needed, ensuring all installations meet safety regulations. Undertake masonry work for structural support as part of larger projects. Provide electrical experience when required, contributing to the overall functionality of installations.

Experience

Candidates should have demonstrable experience in joinery or related fields. A solid understanding of carpentry principles is essential, along with familiarity with various construction techniques. Experience with heavy lifting is important, as well as the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools is crucial for success in this role. Additional skills in roofing, plumbing, masonry, or electrical work will be considered advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
