Job Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

to join our dynamic property and facilities maintenance team. This role requires a versatile tradesperson capable of diagnosing and resolving a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and general building maintenance issues across commercial and residential properties.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out

reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

on building systems, joinery, plumbing, lighting, and fire alarm systems. Diagnose and repair

electrical and mechanical faults

on-site efficiently and safely. Perform

general building fabric maintenance

, including basic joinery, painting, minor plumbing, tiling, and patch repairs. Work to a

daily/weekly schedule

while responding promptly to urgent maintenance requests. Maintain accurate job records using company systems (e.g. digital job cards or mobile workforce platforms). Ensure all tasks are completed in

line with health & safety regulations

, RAMS, and statutory compliance. Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams. Provide

emergency out-of-hours support

as part of a shared call-out rota if required. Support the delivery of minor projects and small works as required.

Key Requirements:

Essential:

Proven experience as a multi-skilled engineer within property maintenance, FM, or building services. Competency in plumbing, joinery, basic decorating, and fault finding. Full UK driving licence. Strong understanding of H&S best practices and safe working procedures. Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.

Desirable:

City & Guilds, IPAF, PASMA, or Gas Safe certifications. Experience in both commercial and residential environments. Familiarity with CAFM or mobile job management systems.

Pay: 28,880.00-32,318.60 per year
