Granada Cranes is a UK leader in the design, manufacture, service and maintenance of cranes, davits and other lifting equipment and accessories.

We currently have a vacancy for an Engineering Technician based at our client's aerospace facility in Bristol. Working within an established and professional Engineering team - with over 200 years of combined experience!

What are we looking for?

A competent engineer with both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering experience (knowledge and experience with PLCs and inverter drives is also beneficial).

Holding relevant Engineering qualifications (eg ONC / HNC/Apprenticeship).

Experience within a manufacturing setting, ideally time-served with a background using cranes and lifting equipment, however other industries will be considered.

As part of a dynamic team, have the ability to operate in a fast-paced and reactive environment with fast and effective fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Familiar with safe systems of work - Risk Assessments and Method Statements, Permit to Work, Isolation procedures LOTOTO, etc.

Health, Safety and Legal compliance are our top priorities, so a pro-active attitude and a high concern towards Safety, Quality and standards in all aspects of work is essential.

Comfortable working at height and willing to use access equipment, gantries

Day to day activities:

Respond to asset breakdowns.

Complete periodic asset preventative maintenance inspections.

Identify, design and implement asset improvement opportunities.

This is a customer facing role, therefore the ability to build good working relationships is essential.
