Job title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - permanent PM shift

Working Hours: Monday and Tuesday 2.30 pm to 12.30 am, Wednesday and Thursday, 2.30 pm

to 12.15 am - 37.5 hours basic

Job role


Providing an efficient and effective maintenance service ensuring all machinery and facilities are maintained and improved both electrically and mechanically through the planned maintenance schedule process and the maintenance job card system.


Key duties and responsibilities


To respond to breakdowns through the job card system and in line with the priority system To carry out maintenance and improvement tasks through the job card system To record breakdown and task information on completion of repair or improvement using the appropriate system both manual and electronic To carry out servicing of machines and ancillary equipment as per the relevant schedules To carry out facility repairs and maintenance as per the schedule or as and when required To source and obtain parts and materials as required following the procedures of the procurement system To work with production teams in the introduction of new or the relocation of existing plant and machinery from initial request through to commissioning and hand over to production. To maintain the relevant stock levels of spares and consumables reviewing and updating the register To ensure the correct tools and equipment are available to carry out the tasks and repairs To ensure 5S standards are maintained in the maintenance workshop at all times To ensure all work is carried out to relevant regulations and health and safety standards To support the development and improvements in manufacturing through implementation of Lean and Continuous Improvement opportunities Ensure housekeeping is maintained to the highest standard and that all relevant company Health and Safety and Environmental requirements are fully adhered to. Be a proactive and flexible team member, training in other disciplines where required.

Electrical/Hydraulics/Pneumatics and Mechanical systems Experience in presses, threadroll machines, CNC machining, DMG Doosan, Takamaz 5 Years Experience ideally 18th Edition Electrical Regulations
