Job Description

The Role:

We are seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician (electrical bias preferred) to join our manufacturing facility.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to assume responsibility as part of the maintenance team for installing, repairing and maintaining machinery, equipment and services on site in an efficient, safe manner to support the manufacturing process, the building and fixtures/fittings.

Key Responsibilities:

To make/repair equipment in order to assist the manufacturing process. Effective support for machine breakdowns and repairs with a focus on reducing down time and increasing efficiency. Contributing to the efficient running of the production lines by adhering to the highest quality and safety standards. Making scheduled checks on machinery and parts in accordance with planned maintenance schedules. Creating new PPM schedules as required. Ensure good housekeeping, completing risk assessments and responsibility for 6S.

Skills/Qualifications

:

Completed an apprenticeship within the discipline or hold an engineering qualification and have experience of repairing/maintaining manufacturing plant equipment. Previous experience of multi skilling would be essential Possess electrical fault finding/diagnostic skills and experience of electrical installation and TPM The ability to interrogate programmable logic controllers (PLC's)/fault finding is desirable. 18th edition wiring regulations is preferred Experience with CMMS software for maintenance recordkeeping. A flexible approach to work with a positive proactive attitude. Strong problem solving and excellent communication skills. Self-motivated and the ability to work with all departments.

Working Hours:

To include day shift, late shift and night shift hours worked Monday to Friday.
