Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician with strong electrical Knowledge to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a variety of industrial equipment and systems. This role requires a technical background, leadership qualities, and excellent customer service skills to ensure smooth operations and minimise downtime. The Maintenance Technician will play a vital role in supporting operational efficiency through effective maintenance practices and team supervision.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on equipment and machinery Respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively to reduce production downtime Diagnose electrical faults and implement safe, long?lasting solutions Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new equipment Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company procedures Work collaboratively with other engineers, production staff, and external contractors Maintain accurate maintenance records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Experience

NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering Experience in Machine Tool environment Strong fault?finding and diagnostic skills Knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively A proactive mindset with a commitment to safety and quality Experience with CMMS 18th Edition Regs FLT / MEWP trained (advantageous) Understanding of 5S and TPM practices (advantageous)

Pay: 40,000.00-45,376.00 per year
