The Opportunity

We are looking for a Multi Skilled Operative on a casual basis to join the team in Edmonton. We are offering an hourly rate of between 14.00 per hour.

The Role

We are seeking a versatile and hands-on Multi-Skilled Technician with a strong background in woodworking, furniture repair, and general maintenance.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and enhancing office furniture and fixtures, ensuring a safe and functional.

What you will do:

Inspect, diagnose, and repair various types of office furniture including desks, chairs, cabinets, and partitions. Carry out basic upholstery tasks recovering seat pads using a staple gun. Assist within the CNC Desking workshop. Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on fixtures, fittings. Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in woodworking, carpentry, or furniture repair. Strong knowledge of hand and power tools, woodworking machinery, and repair techniques. Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Basic understanding of general maintenance tasks. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physically fit and able to lift heavy items when required.
