Multiskilled Operative - Blyth, Northumberland

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Multiskilled Operative to join our busy building maintenance and fabrication company based in Blyth, Northumberland.

Requirements:

Proven experience in groundworks, including drainage, concreting, and site preparation. Skilled in rendering (sand and cement, monocouche, or silicone-based systems). Competent in all aspects of fencing, including timber and metal installations. Ability to interpret plans and work independently or as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work. Full UK driving licence required. CSCS card preferred but not essential. Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out a range of site-based tasks, including groundwork preparation, rendering finishes, and fence installations. Operate tools and machinery safely in line with Health & Safety procedures. Work both independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines. Maintain a tidy and organised work area. Ensure quality control across all aspects of work. Communicate effectively with team leaders and clients when required.

Salary:

Competitive and based on experience (to be discussed at interview).

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-14.50 per hour
