Due to continued business growth, we are looking for a reliable and motivated
Multi-Skilled Operator
to join our team in Rochdale. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting multiple areas of our production process.About the Role
You'll work across several key departments, including:
Goods In:
Receiving, unloading and checking steel components and materials.Picking:
Accurately selecting parts for production.Preparation & Cleaning:
Preparing steel components for coating and finishing, including manual handling and use of cleaning equipment.Powder Coating:
Supporting the coating line, hanging and removing parts, ensuring high quality standards are maintained.The role involves handling
steel components
, some of which are heavy, so a good level of physical fitness and an understanding of safe manual handling is essential.What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a
manufacturing
,warehouse
, orproduction
environment. A flexible, hands-on attitude and willingness to work across different departments. Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Team player with good communication skills. Forklift licence or experience would be an advantage (but not essential). Experience in powder coating or metal finishing is desirable butfull training will be provided
