Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at troubleshooting complex systems. This role involves providing technical support, conducting root cause analysis, and ensuring the optimal performance of our systems through effective design and implementation.

Duties

Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve system issues efficiently. Utilise Simulink for system modelling and simulation to enhance performance. Program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to ensure seamless operation. Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles in design reviews. Create and modify 3D models using SolidWorks, ensuring design integrity and functionality. Employ MATLAB for data analysis and algorithm development as part of system optimisation. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate repairs and modifications. Use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for drafting and designing components. Implement LabVIEW for automated testing and data acquisition in engineering projects. Participate in system design processes, contributing innovative solutions to enhance product reliability.

Experience

Candidates should have a solid background in engineering with experience in the following areas:

Proficient in root cause analysis techniques to diagnose issues effectively. Familiarity with Simulink, PLCs, GD&T, SolidWorks, MATLAB, CAD, LabVIEW, and mechanical systems is essential. Previous experience in system design or related engineering roles will be advantageous.
