The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of construction and maintenance tasks across multiple trades, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities

Perform carpentry work including framing, finishing, and repairs. Conduct roofing installations, repairs, and maintenance to ensure structural integrity. Carry out construction painting, preparing surfaces and applying finishes to specifications. Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in line with safety standards. Execute masonry tasks such as bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete work. Operate welding equipment for fabrication and repair purposes. Apply electrical experience for basic wiring, fitting, or troubleshooting electrical systems. Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete assigned tasks accurately. Engage in fabrication activities including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials. Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Skills

Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work or related trades. Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels, screwdrivers. Competence in operating power tools including drills, grinders, saws. Strong understanding of fabrication processes and materials handling. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual labour over extended periods. Strong commitment to safety procedures and best practices on site.
