Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills across various trades, including carpentry, roofing, plumbing, and more. This role requires a hands-on approach to construction and maintenance tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Carry out carpentry tasks, including framing, installation of doors and windows, and cabinetry work. Perform roofing duties, such as repairs and installations of various roofing systems. Execute construction painting tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of structures. Conduct plumbing work including installation, maintenance, and repair of pipes and fixtures. Engage in masonry activities such as bricklaying and stonework for both structural and decorative purposes. Utilise welding techniques for metal fabrication and repairs as required. Apply electrical experience to assist with installations and troubleshooting of electrical systems. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various projects. Participate in fabrication processes for custom projects as needed. Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in multiple trades including carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, or electrical work is essential. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to construction tasks. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials when necessary. A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.
