Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled trades person to join our team on our Devon Holiday Parks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for their work. Your contributions will ensure that our parks stand out as the best in the area. Your principal role will be to oversee the snagging of new holiday homes and carry out necessary works.

Immediate start for the right candidate.

Hours of work are 30-40 per week - Mon - Fri with overtime available

Duties

could include

Utilise hand tools and power tools for various construction and repair tasks Perform roofing duties Carry out plumbing tasks, including installation and repair of pipes Fabricate and assemble components as required Collaborate with other trades people and contractors to ensure project completion Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored correctly Perform landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns. Build and maintain garden beds, ensuring proper planting and care of flowers, shrubs, and trees. Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify maintenance needs or potential issues. Maintain equipment by cleaning, lubricating, and performing minor repairs as necessary.

Qualifications

Previous experience working in a holiday / caravan park desirable but not essential Strong mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain various tools and equipment. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used Physical stamina to perform manual labour, including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods. A keen eye for detail to ensure high standards of maintenance are upheld. A willingness to learn new skills as required
