Job Title: Multi-Skilled Tradesperson / Site & Client Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a highly capable and reliable team member to join our growing building & property maintenance business. This role blends hands-on multitrade work with responsibility for managing jobs, communicating with clients, and ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish.

This is not just a tools-only role -- we want someone who can think ahead, spot problems early, and take ownership of site activity.

Key Responsibilities

Hands-on Multiskilled Work

General building knowledge across multiple trades (carpentry, basic plumbing, decorating, minor electrical, tiling, repairs & maintenance) Completing jobs to a high standard with attention to detail Diagnosing issues and recommending suitable remedial works
Site & Job Management

Opening and closing jobs, ensuring materials, labour and access are prepared Quality control check-ins during the job and completion sign-off Coordinating subcontractors where required
Client Communication

Acting as the point of contact on site for landlords, tenants, homeowners and agents Keeping clients updated on progress and any variations Handling issues calmly and professionally
Problem-Solving & Decision-Making

Thinking on your feet when challenges arise

Offering solutions rather than waiting for instructions Risk awareness & adherence to H&S standards
Ideal Candidate Skills

4+ years in general building / property maintenance / refurbishment

Comfortable working across multiple trades Strong communication and organisation Confident dealing with clients face-to-face Full UK driving licence Positive attitude and professional appearance
Salary & Package

18-22 Per Hour

Company van & fuel card All business expenses & parking covered Overtime available + performance bonus scheme Progression routes into senior site supervisor / project manager
