Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of construction skills, including carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical experience, and fabrication. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects across the construction and maintenance sectors, contributing to high-quality workmanship and ensuring client satisfaction. The position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to delivering excellence in their craft. Predominately Midlands based but will require flexibility to travel throughout the UK for some jobs.

Duties

Carry out carpentry tasks such as framing, finishing, and installing fixtures Perform roofing repairs and installations with precision and safety in mind Conduct construction painting to meet project specifications and quality standards Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential or commercial settings Execute masonry work including bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete applications Carry out painting /decorating repairs Assist with electrical installations and troubleshooting where qualified Utilise hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete assigned tasks Fabricate custom components or structures as required for projects Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety regulations Complete PPM tasks , EML Flick tests , water temp checks etc

Requirements

Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry or fabrication is essential Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Strong understanding of construction processes and safety protocols Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project specifications Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction trades are advantageous but not mandatory if experience is substantial A proactive attitude with excellent problem-solving skills Valid UK driving license is required
