Multi-Skilled Trade Professional

to join our growing team. This field-based role comes with a company van and focuses on delivering high-quality building repairs for domestic insurance claims.

The Role

As part of the

RFM Building Repair Ltd

team, you will:

Undertake all aspects of building repairs in domestic properties. Operate within our designated areas and postcodes. Represent the company professionally while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Responsibilities

Carry out plumbing installations and repairs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Conduct basic electrical work to domestic properties. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks. Fabricate components as required for specific projects. Undertake carpentry work including framing, installation of fixtures, and finishing touches. Carry out painting duties to enhance the aesthetic appeal of structures. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in multiple trades such as, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, tiling and painting for domestic properties. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Ability to read technical schedules of work, drawings and specifications accurately. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. A valid driver's licence for travel between job sites. Relevant certifications or qualifications in any of the trades would be advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 16.00-20.00 per hour
