About the Role

Fixation Academy is looking for

experienced, enthusiastic Multi-Sports Activity Leaders

to deliver a variety of sports and physical activities at our school holiday camps. You will be responsible for

independently planning and leading engaging sports sessions

, encouraging children to develop skills, teamwork, and confidence.

This role is best suited to someone who is

self-driven, confident managing groups without constant direction, and highly knowledgeable about safeguarding and child welfare

.

Responsibilities:

Independently deliver a range of sports and physical activities

for children aged 6-11. Create a fun, safe, and inclusive environment where all children feel supported. Encourage teamwork, confidence, and participation through positive coaching. Take responsibility for setting up and packing away sports equipment daily. Work collaboratively with the Multi-Sports Team Lead, Site Lead, and other staff, but show initiative in running your own sessions. Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and welfare standards are met at all times. Manage behaviour positively, ensuring all children are engaged and included. Act as a positive role model, promoting sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork.

Requirements:

At least 2 years' experience coaching or leading children's sports sessions.

Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). Relevant coaching/teaching qualifications desirable. Safeguarding and Food Hygiene training (can be provided). Reliable, self-motivated, and confident leading groups independently. Able to adapt sessions to suit mixed abilities and needs.
