Sports Cool Dartford was established in September 2025 and has already experienced an incredible rise within the local community. As we continue to grow, we are now focusing on recruiting passionate and committed coaches to help expand our wide range of sports provisions across Dartford and surrounding areas.

Role Overview

We are recruiting Freelance Multi-Sports Coaches to deliver engaging, high-quality sessions for children across multiple settings.

Sports Cool Dartford delivers

:

Primary school PE lessons Before-school clubs After-school clubs Lunchtime clubs Half-term and holiday multi-sports camps Football sessions, including our Soccer Cubs programme
As a coach with Sports Cool Dartford, you will have the opportunity to work across all of these areas, depending on your availability, experience, and qualifications.

We operate Monday to Saturday, meaning there is Saturday morning work available. This role may be of particular interest to football-specialist coaches, as we run our Soccer Cubs programme on Saturday mornings.

We are currently looking to recruit three coaches, with start dates expected around the first or second week of February.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver fun, safe, and engaging multi-sport and football sessions Lead age-appropriate sessions for children of different abilities Deliver PE lessons in line with school expectations (where applicable) Promote and uphold Sports Cool Dartford's core values Travel between venues when required Represent Sports Cool Dartford professionally at all times Work closely with a Director to help increase the visibility of Sports Cool Dartford within the community

Hands-on support from Director, Chima Akude, during your initial sessions Ongoing monthly support following your induction period Clear career progression pathways, including: Part-time or Full-time contracts Senior Head Coach roles Multi-Sports Camp Leader positions We actively reinvest in our coaches, including potential support towards gaining a Level 2 qualification after time with the company Sports Cool Dartford uniform provided, which must be worn at school venues at all times Sports Cool Dartford lanyard provided, to be worn and brought to every lesson and session Family-friendly perks: If you have a child aged 3-7, they are entitled to a free space on one of our Soccer Cubs sessions Free Sports Cool Dartford holiday camp places for your children aged 4-12 Access to group development courses, such as in-person first aid training Travel expenses covered when attending these courses

Requirements

Minimum 1 year coaching experience Level 2 qualification in a sport(Alternatively, a university degree in Sports Coaching or a higher-level sports-related degree will be accepted) Coaches with Level 1 qualifications will still be considered, although work opportunities may initially be more limited Ability to travel between venues(Access to a car is preferred but not essential -- we will schedule sessions that work best for your situation where possible) Willingness to occasionally travel between Bexley and Bromley (rare but required) Passion for working with children and developing young people through sport Football coaching experience is desirable but not essential
