to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children of all ages and skill levels.
This role involves coaching children aged
3-10 years
and is ideal for someone who is motivated to help
develop and grow the business
. Class schedules will be built
around the successful candidate's availability
, offering flexibility and the opportunity to expand hours over time.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering
engaging, age-appropriate sessions
that promote fun, skill development, and teamwork across a variety of sports and games. A
scheme of work
is available to support session planning.
Initially, the role will include a few hours per week, with the
intention of increasing hours
based on demand and performance.
Responsibilities:
Design and deliver fun, structured sessions tailored to the needs and abilities of the children.
Teach participants the rules, techniques, and strategies of various sports.
Monitor and assess children's progress, providing positive and constructive feedback.
Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages teamwork, respect, and good sportsmanship.
Organise and lead sessions safely, following all health and safety protocols.
Collaborate effectively with other coaches and staff to ensure smooth operation of sessions.
Maintain high expectations for children's participation, engagement, and behaviour.
Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in sports coaching, ideally with children aged 3-10.
Strong understanding of coaching principles and child development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive, enthusiastic, and professional attitude.
Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications (desirable).
