The successful candidate will be responsible for designing training programmes, delivering engaging coaching sessions, and fostering a positive environment that promotes teamwork, discipline, and personal growth. Responsibilities
Plan, organise, and deliver coaching sessions tailored to the needs of participants
Develop customised training programmes to improve individual and team performance
Provide guidance on techniques, tactics, and sportsmanship to athletes of all ages
Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to optimise athlete development
Promote a safe environment by ensuring all activities adhere to health and safety standards
Encourage teamwork, motivation, and a positive attitude among participants
Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and achievements
Collaborate with other coaches and staff to organise sporting events and competitions
Experience
Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching within a recognised organisation or club
Strong knowledge of specific sports disciplines relevant to the role
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes
Ability to adapt coaching methods to suit different age groups and skill levels
Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential for entry-level positions
