Job Title: Multi Trade Builder / Skilled Tradesperson

Salary: \xc2\xa3130 per day (\xc2\xa334,000 per annum) or \xc2\xa3165 per day (\xc2\xa343,000 per annum) depending on job position

Location: Abingdon

Job Role: Full time, Permanent

We are urgently looking for an experienced multi skilled tradesperson to join our team. The successful candidate will be hard working, highly skilled and take pride in their work. We have two positions available, one of which is for a hands on manager position (includes a company van + additional pay). When applying please advise which job vacancy you are applying for.

Both positions will mainly involve kitchen & bathroom refurbishments, but will also include garage conversions, structural alterations, plumbing, carpentry, tiling and various other related work. The position does not involve any social housing work.

Key responsibilities:

• Take pride in producing a high standard of work
• Have a keen eye for detail and a positive attitude
• Should help us to achieve a first time fix approach, with snagging and call backs kept to an absolute minimum
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
• Problem solving abilities
• Experience in most or all of the areas of work we cover
• Ability to manage and run jobs (manager position)

The Candidate:

• Minimum 3 year\xe2\x80\x99s continual experience in carpentry and plumbing
• Must live within easy commute of Abingdon, OX14 (20 mins commute max.)
• Experience fitting kitchens and bathrooms
• Customer focused, team player who ensures each project is completed as expected and on time
• Excellent communication skills with customers, team members and manager
• Reliable and trustworthy
• Strong organizational skills
• Problem solving abilities
• Management experience essential (Manager\xe2\x80\x99s position)
• Good selection of own tools an advantage
• Structural work experience an advantage
