A S Homes and construction is a small business in St Albans, Hertfordshire. We are professional, and our goal is to Produce quality work that brings about satisfaction to our team and also delights our clients .

An initial 4 weeks work with a review to commit longer term for the right person.

We are looking for a multi-trades person to join our successful business and team. We are open to the skills that this person has... for example, Plumbing is advantageous but not essential

This person would be an all rounder with the ability to work alone or part of a team when required. It would be expected that the individual would be hard working and able to produce work to a high standard.

Duties:
- Perform various construction tasks
- Assist with heavy lifting and moving of materials and equipment.
- Restore and renovate structures according to specifications and instructions
- Able to use hand and power tools to fabricate and assemble components.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a builder / multitrade or in a similar role.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 22.50-25.00 per hour

St Albans: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Joinery: 1 year (preferred) Carpentry: 1 year (preferred) Plumbing: 1 year (preferred) Roofing: 1 year (preferred) Tiling: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (required)
