Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and joinery, with the ability to fabricate and install various structures and fixtures. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality workmanship. The Joiner will be responsible for working on diverse projects contributing to the overall success of our construction efforts.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and install wooden structures such as doors, windows, and frameworks. Perform roofing tasks, ensuring proper installation and maintenance. Use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely to complete tasks. Plumb installations accurately to meet specifications. Carry out painting and finishing work to enhance the appearance of completed projects. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

Proven experience as a Joiner or Carpenter in a similar role is essential. Familiarity with joinery techniques and materials is required. Experience in roofing or related fields is advantageous. Proficient in using various hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship. Ability to read technical drawings and plans accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
