Job Description

We are looking for a multiple versatile and skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join our team. They will be responsible for undertaking a variety of tasks related to different trades. This role requires a well-rounded individual with expertise in multiple areas, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle a diverse range of tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

Multi-Trade Skills:

Perform a range of tasks across various trades and general maintenance. Handle repairs, installations, and maintenance projects in residential and commercial settings.

Problem Solving:

Diagnose issues and determine the most effective and efficient solutions. Troubleshoot and address problems in a timely manner.

Customer Interaction:

Interact with clients to understand their maintenance and repair needs. Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.

Project Management:

Manage and prioritise multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Coordinate with other team members to ensure seamless project execution.

Compliance:

Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards. Stay informed about updates in building codes and industry best practices.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each task. Provide detailed reports to supervisors and clients as needed.

Requirements

Versatility:

Demonstrated expertise in multiple trades and general maintenance. Ability to adapt to new tasks and challenges.

Experience:

Proven experience as a Multi-Trade Operative or similar role. Specific experience in coring, joinery or plumbing would be desirable.

Licenses and Certifications:

Valid driver's license is a must.

Communication:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical individuals.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and make decisions on the job.

Time Management:

Efficient time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks.
