We are hiring full-time employees that represent Floorplan Developments Ltd, with exceptional quality of work and high levels of customer service in the Hampshire (Southampton) area. We have a portfolio of over 20 properties that we let out and manage as well as provide fully project-managed refurbishment and maintenance for private projects ranging in scale.

As a Multi-Trade Operative at Floorplan Developments Ltd., you will be responsible for performing various skilled trades, including but not limited to carpentry, repointing, plastering, tiling, bricklaying, and general maintenance, on a variety of construction projects within the Floorplan Developments Ltd. property and customer portfolio. You will be expected to work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks to a high standard, ensuring that all work complies with health and safety regulations.

We are looking for 1 skilled,

reliable

, and versatile Multi-Trade Operative who has expertise and at least

10 years' experience

in multiple trade types that cover, but are not limited to (minimum of 3 of the below):

Plastering Brickwork General building maintenance and handyman tasks Tiling Carpentry
Key Responsibilities:

Perform repair, refurbishment, and installation work on residential and commercial properties. Work from plans and specifications to complete assigned tasks efficiently and to a high standard. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant regulations, health and safety guidelines, and company policies. Conduct inspections and assessments of work required, reporting back to supervisors or project managers. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety and reliability. Collaborate with other tradespeople, contractors, and team members to ensure project goals are met. Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients and addressing their concerns or questions. Adhere to project timelines and deadlines, working efficiently to complete work on time and within budget. Complete necessary paperwork and documentation related to tasks and projects alongside the admin team.
Requirements:

Proven experience in multiple trades, such as plastering, carpentry, tiling, and bricklaying. Own vehicle and tools Strong knowledge of construction practices and building regulations. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to various tasks. Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship. Good communication skills and a positive attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Full UK driving licence. Relevant qualifications in construction trades (NVQ, City & Guilds, etc.) are desirable but not essential.
