We are seeking a?Damp, Mould, and Condensation Specialist?to join our team. This role focuses on identifying, assessing, and resolving issues related to dampness, mould growth, and condensation in buildings.. Your work will be crucial in maintaining healthy living conditions, preserving the structural integrity of properties, and preventing further damage.

Key Responsibilities

Working in conjunction with Awaab's law Inspection and Assessment: Conduct thorough inspections to identify the presence and extent of dampness, mould, and condensation. Diagnosis: Determine the root causes of these issues and propose effective solutions. Remediation: Implement appropriate measures to resolve identified problems, including treatment and repair. Preventative Measures: Advise on and install preventative solutions to avoid future occurrences. Customer Interaction: Communicate findings and recommendations to clients clearly and professionally. Compliance: Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, particularly those related to mould and hazardous substances.
Skills and Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience in painting, decorating, and multi-trades is required. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and propose effective solutions. Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of building construction and materials. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with health and safety regulations, especially those concerning mould and hazardous substances. Communication: Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Location: This role is based in Essex and surrounding areas Employment Type: Self-employed. Importance: This role is essential in maintaining healthy and safe environments, particularly in residential and commercial properties. It also plays a significant part in reducing long-term maintenance costs by addressing underlying issues early. This is to work on social housing contracts.
